The Black First Land First (BLF) says the Zuma Must Go Campaign was created by whites in South Africa and overseas.
BLF Leader Andile Mngxitama said whites use their economic power to buy politicians and are now gunning for President Jacob Zuma’s heard as they have no control over him.
“President Zuma understands the tactics used by white capitalists to control South Africa…But the white capitalist are not happy and now want to replace Zuma with a puppet president,” said Mngxitama.
Recently a movement called “Occupy Luthuli House” was formed in a bid to get Zuma and his National Executive Committee (NEC) to immediately resign.
The movement on Monday marched to the African National Congress head quarters in Johannesburg to deliver their memorandum.
Mngxitama said they say NO to regime change because it won’t serve black people. He added South Africa can only acquire economic liberation under Zuma’s leadership.
“We believe Jacob Zuma can get us the economic liberation we need. The ANC has the political power and must use it to help blacks get a better life,” said Mngxitama.
It’s time to serve black people. No more white agendas. Jacob Zuma must help us achieve economic liberation and black rights which have been ignored for so long,” he added.
Mngxitama then called on South Africans to supports his “Hands Off President Zuma- Economic Liberation Now!” campaign.
“BLF wants real economic liberation for black people now. Join us in action, say “No to regime change”,” said Mngxitama.
